Autumn / winter 2011 saw the Emporio Armani catwalk celebrating black. Strobe lighting added to the club ambiance and the silhouettes created by Giorgio Armani suggested a fatal type of beauty; ultra seductive that moves to the rhythm of a night club.
The fabrics were transformed with rhinestone collars which enhanced the fluid, black satin material. The asymmetry and the sparkling effect of the decentred frills accentuated the contrast between matt and gloss.
